Science in Wittenberg Network


The Research Library for Reformation Studies is a member of the Science in Wittenberg Network, in which scientific research institutions in Lutherstadt Wittenberg work together. Institutions from various scientific fields are involved, such as historical subjects, chemistry, engineering, medicine, and cultural and social sciences. The aim is to promote interdisciplinary dialogue in the city, to stimulate cooperation and to raise the profile in the city’s public life of the diversity of scientific research conducted in Wittenberg. In particular, Science Day, which was held for the first time in 2019, was designed for this purpose. The network was created in 2018 in the course of discussions about an integrated urban development concept for Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
